Imam Ali (as) said “O’ people your behavior with the people should be in such a way that if you die and depart from the world others should mourn your death and weep on account of your absence and incase you are alive and exist among the people they should be enamored of you and love you.”[i]

One day Imam Hassan (as) called his sons and nephews and said to them “Today you are the children of the society and it may be hoped that tomorrow you will be distinguished people in the society. You should make efforts to acquire knowledge and wisdom. Those of you who do not have a good memory and cannot retain useful matters should write them down and keep those writings in your houses for being utilized at the appropriate time.”
