Imam Baqir (as) said “Whoevers tongue utters the truth, his practice becomes purified and the one whose intention is decent and good, his sustenance increases. And who ever adopts a decent and nice attitude and behavior with his family his life lengthens.”[i]

Imam Baqir (as) said “And do contemplate and ponder about what is said about you. So if you observe and come to know about something which exists in you (vice) then do know that to lose your honor and falling down in Allah’s view for a right and just thing is much more of a greater and graver calamity than losing respect in the eyes of people. And if your condition is contrary to what has been said about you, then you have earned a reward and recompense short of any physical strain.”[i]
